- AI-assisted grouping and advanced search on paid plans.
- Native mobile apps and mature cross-device sync.
What Zen Tabz does differently
Zen Tabz keeps it free and unlimited. There is no 60-tab ceiling and no subscription, no account, and your data stays in your browser by default. It saves whole sessions across all windows and restores Chrome tab groups and pinned tabs in place, and it imports and exports bookmarks alongside tabs.
- Unlimited saved tabs at no cost, with no paid tiers.
- No account required; optional encrypted cloud sync is off by default.
- Preserves Chrome tab groups and pinned tabs on save and restore.
- Handles bookmarks as well as sessions.
Which should you choose?
If you want the most polished interface, team sharing, AI grouping, and mobile apps, and you are comfortable paying once you pass 60 saved tabs, Toby is a strong choice. If you want unlimited saving for free, no account, and local-first privacy while keeping tab groups and pinned tabs intact, Zen Tabz is the simpler fit.
