Automatic Backup
Tabs are saved automatically so you never lose your browsing context.
Protect your open tabs from crashes, accidental closes, and system restarts. Zen Tabz automatically backs up your browsing sessions so nothing is ever lost.
Tabs are lost in three ordinary ways: a crash or forced quit, an accidental window close, and the plain end-of-day shutdown. Chrome’s built-in recovery covers the first two only sometimes, and only for the most recent session. A backup is the part you control: a saved copy of the tabs you had open, stored before anything goes wrong.
It helps to separate the two. A backup is the save you make beforehand; a restore is opening it again. Chrome leans on the last session and hopes it wrote cleanly. Zen Tabz saves each session as a named collection, so the backup exists independently of what Chrome does on shutdown, and restore is one click rather than a recovery gamble.
Saved tabs stay in your browser by default, with no account required. Optional encrypted cloud sync is available if you want the same backup on a second computer, and it is off until you turn it on.
